Pick & Place cycle

Electronics Forum | Tue Nov 08 01:46:43 EST 2016 | sarason

Some machines use air blowing to not only place the part but to also help guarantee that when the nozzle is sucking it doesn't end up with a net accumulation of solder paste inside the nozzle. Juki and Yamaha spring to mind. sarason

Definitely helps! I came across this Yamaha newsletter mentioning 16 nozzles for YV-112 not 12 (see page 5). Are you sure Yamaha didn't sell different models to Assembleon? Did they change models alot? Also does the YSM40R really hit 200,000 cph

JUKI vs UIC Pick N Place Machines

@ Sr.Tech, Most of our Chinese spares are Juki & Yamaha original & still bagged, just much cheaper. They wouldn't sell machines in China if all the spares and consumables were at European mark ups. Nozzle wise the Juki 750 & 760 copies are not 100%

asymmetrical element in Yamaha VIOS

Electronics Forum | Thu Jun 18 20:19:04 EDT 2020 | compit

I have to place the element as in the attachment. The nozzle grabs the quartz, but it is not the center of the module and I cannot recognize it correctly. How to deal with the shift? What do you treat such elements - chip, IC, other?
