We use Zebra 2824 for small labels. It's a decent printer and we have been using this style for years. I don't know anything about Brady, but they might be worth looking into.

I have had the Amistar LP1000 for about 5 years and LOVE it. A little trouble between the Zebra printer and machine but since I bought it used no pay no upgrades and I understand new software might improve that. Otherwise it always works. Probably pu
