#1 you can either do that by: Importing only the BOM information and no board component XY data. Or you can have the board component XY data imported and on the display and in this case you would first import your CAD, Gerber or XY rotation data as usual into the Unisoft software

. Personally, I edit FPX files in Excel every day to take advantage of Microsoft features and convert back to FPX for Searching, Viewing, Datasheet Linking

. Type some characters. When a footprint name was missing on a “Save FPX” the FPX format changed to V2015. To convert back to the 2012 format use File > Save As. General
