IPC bestowed its highest corporate honors on two IPC member companies, TTM Technologies, Inc. and Continental Automotive. During a luncheon at IPC APEX EXPO 2020, the Peter Sarmanian Corporate Recognition Award was presented to TTM Technologies, Inc. and the Stan Plzak Corporate Recognition Award was presented to Continental Automotive.

The newly appointed IPC APEX EXPO Technical Program Committee (TPC) is inviting engineers, researchers, academics, technical experts, and industry leaders to submit technical conference abstracts for IPC APEX EXPO 2023 to be held at the San Diego Convention Center. The technical conference will take place January 24–26, 2023.

IPC announces the first employee of its new legal entity in Germany, Hans-Peter Tranitz, Ph.D. Dr. Tranitz will serve as senior director, Solutions, at IPC Electronics Europe GmbH in Munich. In this role, Dr. Tranitz will focus on IPC global initiatives including automotive electronics, advanced packaging, and Factory of the Future as well as serving as a technical resource for regional activities in Europe.

The IPC Electronics Materials Forum is a new technical conference focused on developments in materials and processes associated with advanced electronics assembly and manufacturing for board fabrication, assembly and post-assembly protection.
