Hitachi High‐Tech Instruments announces the availability of their new Stack Stick Feeder for the Sigma Series modular mounters. The Stack Stick Feeder is especially well-suited for feeding odd-form components to the mounter. The feeder can accommodate up to 6 sticks at a time, with maximum length of each stick 600mm (23.6”) and an auto change feature replaces empty sticks with full ones automatically. There is no need to stop production, since 6 sticks can be stocked at a time in the stock area. Changeover time is only 2 seconds.

Yamaha Motor Co. is finalizing an aggressive transition plan to incorporate the Hitachi Sigma Mounter Platform into their already extensive portfolio of SMT Mounters, Printers, Dispensers, Hybrid Placers and Inspection / X-Ray Machines.
