IPC's Validation Services Program has awarded and renewed an IPC J-STD-001 and IPC-A-610 Qualified Manufacturers Listing (QML) to ALPHA-electronik A/S, an ISO9001 and ISO13485 certified EMS-based company in Denmark. Following an IPC audit, Alpha-electronics became the first European company to successfully renew and complete an intensive audit, based on two of IPC's foremost standards: IPC J-STD-001, Requirements for Soldered Electrical and Electronic Assemblies and IPC-A-610, Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies.

IPC's Validation Services Program has awarded an IPC J-STD-001 and IPC-A-610 Qualified Manufacturers Listing (QML), meeting Class 3 requirements, to Colonial Assembly and Design, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Zentech Manufacturing. IPC's Validation Services Program has awarded an IPC-6012/IPC-A-600 Qualified Manufacturers Listing (QML) to Compunetics, a manufacturer of printed circuit boards based in Monroeville, Pa. Compunetics is the first to receive IPC's Validation Services QML for these standards. Compunetics met or exceeded the testing requirements for board coupons and passed a three-day, on-site audit by Validation Services. Maintenance of the QML requires testing of board coupons every quarter and passing of periodic factory audits.
