Metcal today announced plans to exhibit at SMTA International, scheduled to take place Oct. 16-17, 2018 at the Donald Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, IL. The company will demonstrate its Connection Validation (CV) Soldering System with new hand-pieces, MX-5270 system with solder wire feeder, Digital Hot Air Pencil, Solder Tip Cleaner and VFX-1000H Volume Fume Extraction System in Booth #330.

Despite the coronavirus pandemic, Piddlehinton-based Prototype Electronics Ltd has invested in a second iineo pick & place machine from Europlacer. The new machine was specified to be identical to the company's first single-turret iineo+ machine acquired just one year earlier.
