Transition Automation today unveils a new paste retainers design which improves the management of solder paste within the printing area. The new product "SPR" helps eliminate leakage of solder paste out of the print area by way of a floating spring supported paste retainer attached to the end of the squeegee holder.

The new process developed by Transition Automation adapts a steel rod to the non-printing edge of the squeegee which aids the user in handling and assembly and improves the straightness and durability of the squeegee during customer installation and operation. Transition Automation's Advanced Permalex squeegees have passed initial trials in a new technology development between Henkel's Advanced Resins Division and Aqua Membranes. The technology under development is a new innovation that creates 3D printed membranes for improved Reverse Osmosis Filtration.
