Universal Instruments will feature flexible surface mount, odd-form and automation platform solutions at the 2017 IPC APEX EXPO held at the San Diego Convention Center on February 27 – March 1. On booth 3141, Universal will demonstrate its FuzionOF™ high-speed automation platform, extra-capacity FuzionXC2-37™ Platform and Uflex™ modular automation platform.

Universal Instruments will demonstrate both its high-speed flexible Fuzion1-30™ and ultra-flexible Fuzion1-11™ platforms at Productronica 2015, held November 10–13 at the Munich Trade Fair Center, Germany. Complementing these solutions on the booth will be the Polaris Assembly Cell, offering cost-effective performance for extreme odd-form automation and light mechanical assembly applications. Cogiscan announced that it was chosen by Universal Instruments to support traceability and connectivity requirements for one of its major customers. Universal was recently selected by a leading EMS provider to source and supply complete production lines for a new facility. The customer requirement included Universal’s core product offerings for automated pick-and-place in SMT and automated through-hole insertion, as part of a comprehensive factory-wide solution.
