we have a My9 using 2.4.6B software. the auto teach for new components option is there when creating a new package. but when i select it, it wont work. does this mean i need a software upgrade or does this mean the auto teach was disabled? when i hit

Hi, It sounds like your vision is not setup right for this component, and it's rejecting some of them because they would be failing the test. This brings up a point we discovered. Don't use auto teach for the component if your using HYDRA or vision

Does your my9 have any cameras aside from the x wagon camera and hydra camera? I believe you need a camera aside from these 2 such as a line scan camera to be able to use the auto teach option.

the package should have nozzle(midas) and camera pre-selected(hydra camera will not work(try standard or high resolution). Odd shape recognition type will not use auto teach option(try chip, leaded, BGA.... )

I don't think the light levels can be adjusted manually. Two options that I know of, back ltg and front ltg. If you have auto teach mode, switch between this two. If the bottom is clear use back ltg on a square mold. Hope it helps.

In TPSys 2.2, you do not have the Auto Teach function that Grant was talking about. The thing to do at this point is to include a MYDATA person. They have services which offer you to send your problematic part in and they will analyze it and tell you

Hi, we also use Advantis machines. Our software have a software option "Auto teach pick up position". This one is made exactly for not perfect feeders or reels. In case you have this option it could help you. you can set it for each part you want.
