Check the reference plate on the hydra to make sure it is not cracked or delaminated. I have had problems with the glue coming loose and the plate flapping causing this same problem. check hydra camera calibrations, this to may help.

Thanks for your suggestion, bobpan. We did try that, and also try to trip the cover and flap interlocks, and various combinations/sequences of both. Doesn't want to work.

Unfortunatly there are too many variables to play with that you can't make a general rule for the vibration time. However, I suggest you increase the vibration time and lower the vibration force ( AC voltage ). For an SO 8, I would use 600 ms for an

I have seen this before with larger PBGA components. When installed using a rework system, I would advise Convective rather thn IR. In my experience having high power (not high temp) convection is the only way to deal with these problematic devices

Mr Duckmann2000. Where is the leak??? Is it up on the dispenser behind the printhead? If so the simpliest thing to do, assuming you are not using the dispenser, is to cut the incoiming air tubing to the dispense pinch, fold it over and ty-wrap it.
