What is the QFN or Device Voiding Levels Needed for Automotive Industry for Power Devices for Electric Vehicles?

Electronics Forum | Wed Mar 15 12:05:24 EDT 2017 | emeto

Rob, Absolutely agree. Customer precedes standard. As you mentioned design engineers, I think that PCB design has the biggest influence on the voiding. Everything else we do is trying to fix bad PCB design.

Customer precedes standard, but customer must be educated and informed on what is achievable with their design and what is accepted as industry standard practice. My guess is that the negative effect of those voids is negligible. {Voids at the sold

Block protection of Flash ROM

Electronics Forum | Tue Nov 09 21:20:28 EST 1999 | Gyver

Hello all, Recently, we had a bad problem of block protection. You know, our programmer can't protect the 29F002 flash ROM, and our motherboard doesn't have 12 volts output for BIOS. So, from the preceding phenomena, it seems impossible to get a prot

Thanks for the input. These are 80 pin fine pitch connectors on arrayed flex circuits. We have found from experimenting there is really no good alternative but to use local fids. I found what I'm doing wrong - I needed to move fid finds and correc

Upside Down Chips

As a CM, I have had customers stack components as a temporary measure of incorporating an ECO. Most of the time, it includes using an adhesive to secure the component. Cost of material already in-house is the major factor when this occurs. Even th
