Is your machine a TP9 2U ? If you have a UFP or a MY series machine this condition usually points towards a bad X-wagon motor.

Are you able to turn off mechanical centering? Or can you adjust the settings?

The only reason you would need to run this calibration is if the camera was replaced or the centering camera got whacked which is highly unlikely. If your placements are off, put an offset in the parameter file.

To narrow down the cause. Have you test it on all your tools? If only particular tool(s) having issue, then it might be tool that's having the problem.

I've checked the locks in the service program and the solenoids move when told to.. also I can see them opening when going to pick up a tool..

when the machine initiates the last move it does is in the Z axis. If memory serves me, during the last Z move it drives down and measures the stroke, if the lower solenoid is not fully retracted the axis measures the wrong travel limits. Hopefully t
