You'll still have to dispose of filters and whatnot and recycle your water polishing system tanks as hazardous materials.

We just put them in with the dross from our wave machine. It all ends up @ a metal recycler anyway. DG

After have so much discussion about this solder dross reduction, which way is the best to achieve good solder quality with low cost investment? Would it be add additive or recycling the dross or use N2 during wave soldering process??

I know a company that will provide boxes and pay for shipping but no money for trays. They are Smart Cycle 1-800-580-7364. But if someone knows a company that pays I would also like to know. Thanks James

James, Smart thinking!! Thats what Swatch and probably Sony does. And to set the record straight Japan doesnt have a lead ban in solders only a recycling program similar to the European WEEE

We use an evaporation system to eliminate the need to dispose of any wastewater, you may want to look into this, big cost savings in the end. We recycle the wasted paste with our dross.
