We have been using SN100C in our RPS Rhythm selective solder machine since we bought it in 2008 with good success. No issues with the solder pot. We are setting the pot temperature to 300C.

If you prefer to use same profile - it will be fine most of the time. There are several things to consider. 1. Is there part on second side that cannot withstand temperatures from first side? 2. If there is a high mass component on first side, that

I'm not too experienced with this but what about an air-blast with an ionized air source such as an air knife above and below a conveyor to push most of the fluid off of the pcba then run through an oven just above vaporization temperature.

Could be that your temperature ramp up rate is too fast. This could cause the flux in the solder paste to burn off too rapidly. When that happens, it can expand as it heats up and burns off, causing the solder to get spread out from the pad.

There is no temperature issue. The problem is the PCB and the PCB house has admitted to be there being stretch. I don't have a need for process advice. My request was in relation to some equipment that will measure the offset, from the extreme edge

Precisely! Your reflow profile is what proves temperature on the pad is right. X-ray is your visual representation of the result - customers love to see that you are correct.
