The middle of the BGA has to make sure it has 235 deg C (if you are using SAC paste), otherwise it will not form good joint.

What would a good ramp rate be. I am running from 205-217C in 17 seconds. My reflow is 217-235 for 68 seconds. The bottom preheaters are set at 200C and the nozzle is 2075 & 295 for each process respectively.

Hi all, If you are profiling a pcb that has a wide variety of comonpenents with varying temperature sensitivity requirements what do you do? e.g. 1136 ball BGA with min reflow temp 245 with tsop48 with max reflow temp 235 etc. rgd's aj

Well, I did manage to solve this problem. I lowered the max boards temp from 245 to 235. Then I decreased my TAL. This seemed to work perfectly. Thanks everyone for your suggestions! They got me in the right direction.
