| | | Hey MoonMan, | | | | | | Did I catch in one of your fabulous threads that you're using Tetra stencils? I'm anxious to find out how you're liking them. | | | | | | We we're all set up to go to Tetras, then mgt decided to close down our factor

| Have you tried the new Accu-Frame from PNC? It tensions on all four sides using an operator-INdependent mechanical scheme. It seems pretty slick. They're failry new, and don't have a frame for the MPM's last time I checked, so I haven't tried it

We're looking at redesigning our stencils to facilitate better (well, it's pretty much non-existant, so any improvement is a big leap) release from fine pitch apertures. Currently we have perpendicular walled laser cut apertures. We'll be having

Hello to all. for certain time, we have been struggling with some issues on a PCB where have tombstoning on 0402 components (due to pad design) and dewetting in qfp256 0.5 mil pitch (discussed on another threads on this forum) component, we have pro

Steve: Addressing your points: 1 FINE PITCH APERTURES Electropolishing Laser Cut Stencils: Laser cut should not requiring polishing. Geesh, how much money do you have for stencils? ;-) Oval Shaped Apertures: Pass. What do you expect to gain f

What is the QFP pitch ? What aperture dimensions have you chosen ? Is the stencil laser cut then polished ? Your AFTER stencil size looks promising...your BEFORE stencil aperture size looks disastrous...would surely give bridges.. Your pcb pad siz

We are a contract manufacturer currently building a job with IBM CBGA-255 devices and 20mil QFP's that are close to each other. We use a 6 mil laser cut and electro polished stencil with one to one apertures on the BGA's. The customer is experiencing

0.65mm pitch QFP. I believe that this is the borderline for Fine Pitch. Will I have a good paste release with Chem-etch matched with a rubber squeegee? I'm planning of a 15% reduction on the Width and no reduction on the length. Any feedback whether

Steve: There are guidelines for determining if your aperture has the correct proportions to the foil thickness. Maybe thats what youre looking for: 1 Aspect ratio = aperture width/foil thickness Chemically etched SB GT 1.5 Laser cut SB GT 1.2
