Hi, We use the standard pin supports when necessary. Are your boards very thin i.e less than 1.6mm ? or maybe panelised ? Other things to check are Z0 placement height aswell as damaged nozzles, sticky nozzle/nozzle head , poor feeders along with t

We have seen a similar problem. Turned out to be mechanical stress on the component caused by the method of location and clamping at ICT. Where is the component located on the assembly? Poorly adjusted clamping pillars on clamshell fixtures can cause

If you are gang picking from 6 reels in a row for the same part, so the head goes down twice for 12 components, which is easily done on the boards you have previously described, you should see 18K+ per hour with decent panelisation. On an LED panel

Dougie, If you have square, rectangular etc; shaped PCB's maybe you could have routing between circuits. "V" shaped grooves top and bottom. I found this extremely good especially if the assemblies are wave soldered. No gaps for flowing up and over.

In a typical flowline assembly of circuit boards, what are the different methods used for tracking WIP ? I can think of : 1. travel cards - not suitable for panelised boards 2. Marking ID# on board at various operations while board is being built.

We currently have a requirement to build flexi circuits and mount two 40 way, 20 thou connectors at each end. The flexi pcb's arrived in singlulated format. Ideally we would like to have the circuits panelised for machine building as hand placing the

There are many rules, but balance is the key. It all depends on your processes, type of equipment you plan to run the panel through, as well as the type of components going onto the board. If your single up circuit has 6 thru-hole caps, 5 connector

Juki machines generally are great machines for reliablity and maintaining overall accuracy as they have full linear (mag-scales) encoders on XY axis and self calibration features. Laser centering has its pros and cons - mostly pros, but can have iss
