Bill, If you are using a regular A3-sized scanner (roughly 12x16), how do you scan larger stencils or larger baords? Can you do multiple scans and merge the pictures? Frank

I'm using an MCS30 controller and started running the scan disk two days ago and it's still not finished, anyone have any idea on how long it should take or what could be wrong with it? Any help would be appreciated, Best Regards ~Nick

We have never been able to get our IP3 to place BGA's consistently. We installed new bulbs,ran glass plate calibration,played with scan speeds, scan area etc. etc.... I would not recommend this machine for BGA's

You are probably scanning below the part. Adjust the scan height closer to 0 ex..(.005) and see if that works. If not....its probably the z-rod and the nozzle not seating on it correctly. Good luck
