Hey Russ I hate to say it but you switched from Indium for no reason! If you were getting residue then your oven profile was off! Your flux should have burned off if it was done correctly, that's the purpose of "no-clean".

Make sure that you are running the right leadfree profile. You may want to verify that it is correct with thermocouples. Use Indiums Tacflux023, This should work. As far as cleaning them after this I will have to leave up to you. Russ

Hi Tim, I would speak to your guys at Indium, as I am sure they have a paste developed primarily for Conformally Coated products which should alleviate your problems. John

Would anyone know the issue with caked on flux residue coming out of a 10 zone reflow oven? I appreciate anyone's feedback and suggestions, thanks in advance. We are using Indium 10.1 no clean solder paste.

We are printing on an assembly using SAC305 Alloy Sn96.5 Ag 3 Cu .5 with a no clean flux and getting virtually NO spread with either a ramp to spike or straight ramp profile. We are printing to standard FR4 board with immersion Ag finish. I am trying

Good afternoon! We have had great luck with semi-aqueous cleaners from Kyzen and Zestron, and normally recommend both of them. They both have great labs and would gladly offer their input on he cleaning of the flux residue. We make sure that these

Thanks for the excellent info on testing uncured solder mask. I just checked with Chris Nash of the Indium Knowledge base and he told me that the Indium 3592 can be cleaned if need be and that I should contact Kyzen or Zestron (they are the 2 compan
