Per IPC's May Global Sentiment of the Electronics Supply Chain Report, nine in ten electronics manufacturers surveyed are currently experiencing rising material costs, while nearly four-fifths are experiencing rising labor costs. Supporting data from IPC's May Economic Report, indicate there are three main forces exerting pressure on the economy, and conversely, the electronics manufacturing industry: Russia's invasion of Ukraine, inflationary pressures pushing costs higher, and China's strict COVID policy that is hindering production in China and compounding existing supply chain issues.

IPC's Validation Services Program has awarded an IPC-1791, Trusted Electronic Designer, Fabricator and Assembler Requirements Qualified Manufacturers Listing (QML) to TTM Technologies, Inc.'s facilities in Sterling, Va. and Stafford Springs, Conn. Following initial audits by IPC, the Sterling, Va. facility passed stringent fabricator requirements, while the Stafford Springs, Conn. facility passed designer and assembler requirements, earning both facilities a spot-on IPC's global network of rigorously vetted, trusted sources.

The new event will take place June 8-10, 2010, in Honeywell Deer Valley, Deer Valley (Phoenix), AZ.
