IPC-2222, 5.3.1 defines the parameters of making scoring cuts and the tolerance of the cuts, but does not specify the cuts. Our spec for 0.062" thick FR-4 boards is: 0.018-0.024"

How are your experiences with stencilling 0201 components on large circuit boards, i.e. 400 * 250 mm ? Will there not be too much mismatch between between stencil and (FR4) boards? If so, would dispensing be a solution? Any other solutions?

I looked into nitrogen generators, it was 4 years back and I was trying to get 99.995 i think. About 20,000 for the generator then another 20,000 for the compressor you need to force the air in. I spoke with David Groome of BOC UK 01709 842358

If you can, get some samples and just let them run through your oven a couple of times, they dont need to be mounted, just place them on top of some FR4, you'll find out soon enough if the plastic will hold.

If I am not wrong, by reading so huge amountof infos, it seams that CAF test is justified (suggested) if the PCB has at least 4 layers. Correct? What about in case of a need to perform a CAF test ona 2 layers PCB ? Thank you Best reagrd.....GS

I would recommend our mixer, Jose'. He doesn't talk much but can mix 4 jars in about 15 minutes! Are you looking for a mixer or viscometer?

Is there a cost analysis? How can a small business (4 employees) compare small lot sizes with companies who have auto insert. machines?
