hum, I see no problem for your people supporting any line that can run this speed. If your chip shooters are the dual feeder carriage kind, you must run them in replace mode, when one feeder runs out in one carriage, it parks it and continues running

The machine is a chip shooter only. I would use it for that purpose only......if you want a quad that will do fine pitch get a 2c or 4c. The machine should be able to use the old 5 volt feeders but.......dont know if snap on feeders will work on it.

Dave, The quad 1000 was a samsung machine with quads name on it......the software sucks and it is totally different from central controller. If you go for a machine....go for a 2c r 4c if you still want to use the same feeders. Chip shooter means 080

For calculation let me keep future production in mind so for producing 1000 board/day X 110 component means 1,10000 / 8hr/day = 13,750 cph so I have to select a chip shooter between 15-20k cph. any sujested model of Fuji or Panasonic with this speed.

Mark, the only Panasonics I've worked with were MSHIIs and an MPAV2B and at this point I'm foggy on both, but both tracked component inspection errors quite well. You should be able to tell how many parts are rejected for thickness inspection errors
