Losing parts in reflow

Electronics Forum | Wed Jun 13 16:09:28 EDT 2007 | rgduval

The parts were soldered in place on the first side. Any recommendations on material for this kind of fixture? I've shimmed boards off the belt before with titanium wave plows...but, I'd love to find something slightly more elegant.

If you're concerned, consider reducing the period used to monitor pot temperature in your process monitoring. Then, if you observe temperatures that ramp out of control more often than you expect, it might confirm the suspicion about damage to your

As in more dwell? We see the same problem with through holes connected to power or ground planes. The solder reaches the plane and stops. We are having our boards re-designed to increase the thermal relief and expand the hole size. We are also tr
