for the last couple of days when i power up our quad iv, i get assembler is off errors. i cannot get the machine and the quad align to start. any help is gratly appreciated.

IF and only IF you are on a solid flooring. We have ESD carpet. If you were to apply RTV to the carpet, you'd be walked out and thrown on your skinny a$$. Also, extruded aluminium conveyors will bow before skidding, thus causing alignment problems

So what your telling me is kind of vague. Does the machine home and go to the front left corner of the machine? If it does....this could be a quad align problem....meaning dirt on the lens or so-forth. You should watch the heads homing in the z-axi

I would change the Quad Align cable. If you have a spare head board swap that out as well. Make sure your Quad Align lenses are clean. If the camera is smudged then you can have some problems aligning parts as well. Let us know what you find. Cheers.

I dont think you are going to find schematics for that board. Looking through my old stuff....i dont have it and i dont recall it being in the schematics. Maybe someone else can get you a set of schematics though. Good Luck
