I wouldn't go with the AX-5 - it's overkill. To make a board in high volume that sounds that simple is a job for a second user chipshooter (Fuji or Pana)as the first reply mentioned. Stay away from FCM1's. I'm sure the AX-5 is a great machine, but

We use a 2 part epoxy from DEVCON it's listed as 5 minute FR 2 part epoxy. We have used a lot of the material with excellent results, specifically for security reasons.

Take a look at Assembleon. The AX-5, similar to the older FCM, is ideal for running smaller PCB's and has one, if not the fastest IPC board speeds in the market. Something else to think about is to purchase a line. If this is an option, many equipme

A good epoxy should work. Removal would require damaging the board, component, what ever it is attached to. I know Hardman makes a bi-pack ambient cure epoxy that we used in the lab. Search the web for epoxy suppliers, they'll offer various cure s

Both SN100C and SAC305 are excellent and tested LF alloy formulations that with proper process management will produce good looking and reliable solder connections. "Bright & shiny" solder connections is NOT a good measure of a properly soldered LF c

Fastek will get it done with 2 machine and 2 shifts. 2 shifts would need to place 50,000cph. One CP643 with both device tables set could get it done. Having it panelized in 50's, you would need to print 50 panels a hour so get a auto cleaner on the p

I assumed a conservative 25,000 cph for each of the chipshooters...whether it's an MV2F, CP-6, CP-642 etc. You're not going to get 50,000 cph out of (1) CP-643. You might for short periods but not in the long run. It would be suicide to rely on one

Let me see if I understand you correctly. You have a batch washer (looks like a dishwasher). There is a top and bottom spray fixture, which would normally spray water up at the board and down at the board being washed. When you place boards in t
