DEK Printer Chiller set up

Electronics Forum | Mon May 02 10:13:42 EDT 2016 | swag

If it's like ours, it's an AC unit, not a chiller. Easy to hook up with a hose to the printer + power to the unit. You'll need to empty the water from the drip pan from time to time (collects condensation).

Anyone with 2001 era DEK 248 experience?

If this is machine is of the same type of construction as our 248 with the pneumatic table sliding mechanism, check the 'table out sensor' in the 'digital inputs' section of the diagnostics menu. rgds AR

248 Table In/Out is pneumatic (as stated), but I think Shane is referring to Print Carriage which is electrical with positional "encoder" feedback. Need to check for feedback display in output dignostic.

DEK Gridlock reliability

Electronics Forum | Mon Jan 27 10:37:14 EST 2020 | jede

In what regards? If you are wondering if the gridlock will cause damage to parts on the underside of the board, the concern is using fixed support rails. A company I used to work for fixed this by using pneumatic support rails(I am sure there are exa

We worked with 3-4 revisions of the form-flex and they all had problems with stuck pins or pins that just wouldn't come out (due to leaks). The Form flex was pneumatic and hydraulic and worked well for awhile (2-3 weeks)but never seemed to last much

DEK 265GSX

Pneumatic failure is a good guess, as GSX/LT are renowned for their leaky airlines. However on this I would doubt, since the Board stop is a single throw pneumatic with a spring to retract. The return spring broken / disconnected is certainly a possi

DEK Galaxy - removing Heavy Pallet Rails option via software

Electronics Forum | Tue Jun 12 20:54:34 EDT 2018 | dekhead

I don't recall a "Heavy Pallet Rails" option in software; I believe you need to change the Remote Board Stop to "Not Fitted" and move the pneumatic and electrical (BSK6)connections to correspond with the camera mounted board stop. Pretty well detaile

We have 3 of them. E5 (2000), X5 (2006), X4 Proffessional (2012). All of them can handle our requirements, even E5 have the requested accuracy. X5 have disk PCB clamping which really nice for the operators and X4Prof have SPS (3-stage) witch pneumati

I have an issue on my DEK Galaxy printer. The problem is I need to use the hard PCB stop rather than the sensor stop. The printer use to have Heavy Pallet Rails installed prior to me purchasing the machine. The 3rd party removed the rails and repl

Dek 265 Get yourself Formflex tooling for quick changeover time. The principle being tooling pins are raised by a combination of pneumatic's and hydraulics to meet the underside of the pcb which rises to print height. No longer will u have to judge
