I don't understand the issue with Kapton as long as you put a slight load on the tc so it can't lift. It takes a little more tape but it seems to work. Not as well as HT solder but much more convenient.

We utilize our distributor(s) Contact East, Hisco, Future, Arrow, etc.. for our needs. There are a multitude of manufacturers for this tape (3M, Dewal Ind.,etc...) so, you need to find out waht you like and dislike for this magic tape. Some manfs. ha
