The Fuji CP6 and QP242 should be more than capable of placing 0402(cp6) and bga components (QP242). You must be having some programming difficulties.

Mirtec MV3l is a decent machine, It can take some skill and time to program but once its ready it will be accurate.

An old quad 2C/4C with a workholder will probably fit all those numbers. 2Ft is pretty long though and that might be a little too long. Machine price range is about right. Programming is pretty easy. Good luck

Thank you dor your inputs! I was also thinking that once we verified the program to BOM and feeders, we shouldnt check to the BOM after palcement, but we should just AOI. Can you see any other weak points?

If he is typing in numbers I would say this is necessary. If you are importing these numbers and then generating the placement file this is overkill. You do need to do a first article inspection/test on the first board to verify the program. Jerry
