Yikes!! In-line cleaning, to clean cosmetic and benign residues (from a NO-CLEAN) flux... You sure you can't switch fluxes? Another variable with residues is the solder mask. Depending on mask type (glossy, matte, semi-gloss, or semi-matte), will

Real tough to foam that no-clean formula there. Most no-cleans are notoriously difficult to foam. I assume that you have both a pressure and a flow regulator. low pressure and high flow are keys to fowm head height as well as S.G. also make sure

Hi Real Chunks! Hope to see you in LA February. You planning to attend that Bismuth seminar? :-) Anywho...so true. Some Design Engrs. who've never done any real work in their lives think that we can make printed circuit board assemblies using co

You could probably make do with two as long as you attach to the smallest part in a sparsely populated area and a large heavy part in a densely populated area to cover both ends of the spectrum. When I had a MOLE I used all 6. Now I use the 3 the ove

Wait a second... 10 to 15 mils at toe end. How are you doing that? See, the ones we did have a bit of a time with had no catellations on the outside. So, it's like a BGA in that regard. All your paste goes under the part, so if it's not even, or if i

Ahh yes, 254. Don't give up on the other vision types. 254 can give you skewing as well. Your width and height are awfull close. Even with the 0.5 tolerance it is using the tolerance and saying that it is OKAY. Maybe what you measure is 1.8mm for wit

For chip components it is very hard to identify specially the capacitors. You could get sample of each chip manufacture and compare the color. This is very labor intensive task. I suggest to sort by value ( capacitance, resistance) than by manufac

Shields can carry a large thermal mass. If you ever tried removing one in repair, you'd find out how hard they can be. Also, they do deflect air flow. So in a convection oven, your air flow will be turbulent, which also will affect your reflow.

There is another screen where you can select the sprocket size, since we have an Omniflo 7 as well, it may be worth looking into. Go to Set up/Configure/Option/Conveyor. There you will see Options for different Drive sprockets. Ours have 21/55 tooth
