Those are a great help for component ID as far as looking at the part and finding the correct name but is there a list of what all those letters mean? It would help me to remember if I could relate it to a real discription.

One thing to take note of with the TSOP's is that is a T1 variety and a T2 variety. One has the leads on the sides, the other has leads on the ends. I believe the T1 has the leads on the ends, but I would have to look it up to be sure.

Regarding Mydata, that is no problem. You can call the people at Mydata Automation, and get a service contract. As for the others I haven�t got a clue. Regards from Mattias W

Universal was tough to get support on any used equipment that wasn't sold by their company. This was about 4 years ago. Getting any technical support and part number for spare parts was a nightmare

I am wondering what the general concensus is for handling PCB's. Do bare hands pose a problem for PCB assy's? Should operators who handle boards wear gloves? Thanks for your input.
