Whilst in my last job we maintenanced fuji feeders too and purchased a set up jig from alternative machinery. They do a fully intergrated (lcd display) jig which can also be used for panasonic feeders too. Best person to talk to at ALTERNATIVE is L

yes they can, we have re-reflowed BGAs for voids and have noticed that they are still there. I believe that DaveF may have good point as well as I would also believe that you could remove them but I have not yet been able to

AJ, We're using the extenders from Sierra here (www.tapesplice.com). However, I was also in contact with Qtek Manufacturing in Galway, Ireland before settling on Sierra. http://www.qtek.com. I ended up with Sierra for a Stateside solution. cheer

It was easier for us to go with Sierra, with them being stateside. I think it was also a cost consideration.

Floyd, Purchase a spare set of motherboards, get the numbers from the boards and google them up. The CP-40 motherboard is getting on now so you should pick up new ones very cheap. Also don't forget to check the battery on the motherboard.

Those others parts also happend printed not accurate, but there is no solder problem. Only the QFP area looks bad condition.
