Mr.Dave.F has given an exhaustive answer. I just want to mention that some attention could be paid to the plating & contaminants on the PCB. We have experienced longer soldering time due to the presence of contaminants on the plated surface.

Does anyone has experience in ACF (anisotropic conductive film) process? What is the typical bonding pressure/force/temperature for FCOG (flip chip on glass)? Will the glass crack when a high pressure applied during flip chip placement? Thanks and

The only time i have seen this (5 years) has been from operators not allowing the magazines to shut off before pulling them out of their slot. Check the handles on the front of the magazines. If you see some dings on them there is your answer. Good l

Does anyone have or know of a standard that deals with the shrinkage % of SMT components. One of my customers has asked for this to enter into their MRP system. I could make a guess but it would be nice to know if there is a standard to compare it
