The masking boots can be obtained from Sinclair and Rush - their web address is http://www.sinclair-rush.com Regarding the type of conformal coat material you require that is down to the service environment/product life expectancy etc. etc. What do

Don't forget to look into Nordson's coating equipment, it's more expensive than the other's but you get what you pay for.

1: I use the fiducial mark as bad board mark. 2: First get the X sensor installed on the machine, then use method 1. 3: other methods: group boards according to which unit is X out. Then edit NC program to skip corresponding X out.

I'm told that the Contact Systems machines we have will are set up so that if you put a sticker over the fiducial it will skip that board on the panel. I think the machine might prompt the operator that it can't find the fiducial and the operator te

Actually this is for an automotive instrument cluster. From what I've been told back in the good old days we switched fluxes and after the car sat in the sun (and heat) a haze developed on the inside of the panel that was attributed to the flux.

'Good Old Days', hummm, sounds dangerous from the start. Dunno, Bill. While they're corrosion oriented, but have you considered: * ASTM D2247, Procedure for Humidity Testing * ASTM B117, Procedure for Salt Spray Testing (Fog Testing)
