Hello, I'm new on this SMT area and I'm getting involved on the oven profilling, I just heard about the term Delta T, can any one explain what is this? We use convection ovens. Thanks in advance.

I believe the Delta T you're referring to is the delta between the highest and lowest thermal mass components on the given assembly when being processed through reflow.

Please help us understand better what you seek. Is it: * Cleanable low residue solder paste * No-clean solder paste * Someother paste

I need active solder paste to overcome solderability problems - I believe it have to be washed out, the issue is not the cleaning process only the paste (flux) activity level.

Il ne pas de quois. Two most important parameters are: * Solder temperature * Dwell time Immersion depth [1/3 to 2/3 of board thickness] has the least impact of any variable in wave soldering.

Frank- Dreamsniper touched on something I totally forgot about....DROSS.....This is a subtle way for $$$$ to be lost. If it is silver and Shiney...it does not belong in the dross recycle bin. That is good Solder being tossed. You can also add into
