I've used METCAL for years for work such as you have. The base can be a bit expensive, but the number of different tips that they offer (from sold bars, to formed tips for specific component removal, etc..) is fantastic! www.metcal.com

Thanks to all. I have it straightened out. We were running too hot and too fast and too long of a reflow time. I am running with Kic2000 and it works great. Thanks for all your input.

I have heard that there are problems using immersion gold on PCBs when working with BGAs. Is this correct? Is white tin more suitable?

I haven't used that Loctite before as I've never printed adhesive, but you might try reheating the part with a hot air tool...it works pretty well with 3609.

Hi Slaine, Actually, HMP Leaded solder is not complient, it is exempt only when the specific application requires this temp. Sorry for the intrusion but I am working on something very similar currently. Thanks Chris
