Yannick, If we leave the 201 issue aside; have you checked where those BGA pads are connected to? Could those be power/ground balls connected to large (difficult to heat up) planes by any chance? Erhan

You need an illuminance meter. We used these on the set of the Spice Girl videos. Search Yahoo for dozens of manufacturers. Use OSHA specs for setting up your factory - but aren't you in China? Not sure if they have an OSHA over there.

Just wondering what criteria you used to come up with Junki? Direct experience? Last I checked Juki had the lowest annual spare parts costs of the major suppliers. Not what I'd call junk.

any of you guys got any ideas to clear up this stuff of the package surface?? I know this is just a cosmetic defect but one of our packages get splatters on the marking area so this is something I have to fix... inputs are very much welcome...

thanks yeah we are very much looking at the reflow because the package is ceramic tough "scratch" the tape idea because the gold pad is a marking area and the surface might be contaminated and it might cause illegible marking. the slow ramp up i'll
