We are aware of no transparent laminates. Most are roughly translucent, with a milky white color. Some laminated are quite thin and could serve your purpose. As an alternative, could you etch foil [that's readily available] and the attach the etch

If you are doing small circuits, you could use glass slides http://www.hometrainingtools.com/catalog/microscopes-accessories/cat_microscope-slides.html apply conductive epoxy traces, place your components in it and cure at ~ 120 Degree C

Typically lead is plated with tin. One problem with using just tin plating is that you can grow "wiskers" over time, and potentially develop a short somewhere on your PCB. SMTA is giving a presentation on the effects of lead-free solderability.

Looks like we have been running the cure a little short (but only by about 44 min). I need to check if elevated temp shortens cure time to 1 min. at 700F! Thanks Dave, much appreciated Russ
