Has anybody tried to use the new STENCILQUIK(TM) peel and stick BGA stencils that blocks solder flow and repairs damaged dogbone mask?

I'm looking for some data to support my argument that HASL boards are not the most ideal boards for manufacturing involving BGA's and 0402's. I'm sure one of you SMT Gurus out there can point me in the right direction! Thank you in advance!

Does anyone have an opinion about the pro's and con's of Getek vs Isola FR408 laminate? What laminate to most of you call out? Thanks in advance for your feedback. Steve

Look here: http://www.standardpc.com/hitemp-laminates.htm There is nothing significant in the selection of this supplier's table than others posted on the web.

IPC-FA-251 recommends 121*C for 30-60 minutes for 1 and 2 flex layer circuits. A rigid flex can take easily an hour per layer depending on the construction.

Over The Hill, Sounds like you may have an incorrect height specified on a package causing the tool to slam into the board. The most likely cause is removing a magazine while the machine is running but I too have perfect operators who NEVER do that.

Are you sure that the operators are checking pickup placement before the run starts? We had that happen once when yours truly didn't do her job right. Megan
