YV100XT pick and place machine keeps on coming up with FLYING NOZZLE ERROR...any ideas whats the cause

WE have this old YV112 PICK AND PLACE machine that we put it together ourselves.the problem is after loading the file the OS does the PCB data check ,it keeps on looping to pcb data check and doesnt go to next stage. any suggestions??/

What is your micro BGA requiremnets? I mean ball dia / height with a 0.5 mm pitch? I can give you the stencil design, if you make known the parameters.

Balls are 0.30 mm diameter, with a height of 0.24 mm It's a 8*8 mm 184 pins BGA.

I have another question: Does the slope of the conveyor is an important parameter in the solder joint quality? What is the standard in degree? Does that parameter can resolve my problem of partial fulling hole (between 50 and 75%)?

If you don't have Plated through holes you will not get any hole fill! There is nothing for the solder to wet to. Problem solved? Russ

Hi Greg, Is anyone logging the errors at QC/touch up stage so they can feed them straight back to SMT and fix them? (i.e. skipped components, poor paste coverage etc) Obviously the faster you spot an error the cheaper it will be for you. Cheers,
