Hi, me again. Who can tell me which software is availble for the Mirtec MV-2BTL? On this moment we working with Mirtec Inspector 3.4.2/7.50+ is this the only software which is availble for the MV-2BTL?

PickNPlace machine suggestions?

Let me add to the Mydata thing.. TP9-2U=..... TP9UFP=Good MY9=Best TP9 UFPs will place 0402's fine as long as you have black tools and run them across the camera. This method is slow but it works.

I also use a very high lead content solder for this. Its awful to solder with but works quite well once you have it on...

60% ratio would be great start. that is what we typically shoot for with all leaded for the most part. 25 mil diameter in a 40 mil hole, works great for auto insertion as well Russ

Hi Taint, Both machines work OK. The big thing you may over look is pre-heat. Things like flux spatter/boil tend to come into play if you don't pre-heat. Change over, ease of programming, and service are also things to think of.
