You really sould get rid of the dehart unit. I'm sure your aware of its limitations at this point. Plus, as your finding out service my be an issue. APE will give you a trade in credit on the old unit to apply to the purchases of a new APE system.

You can get a better Kapton tape (you must be using the cheap stuff) that leaves no residue. If that fails then you can get edge maskers that slide overtop of the finger and they are reusable. Or you could get a solder pallet made for the assemblies

Dear Masdi, Perhaps you should check again your screen print process. Small amounts of solder paste under stencil can cause your problems. This paste is from previous printed pcb. When printing next pcb this paste attachs to places that it doesn't
