cookson has something they call "cool caps" that reduces the delta T across the component top surface, something you might wanna explore to reduce the delta T even further....FYI, I am not associated with cookson in any way

Try using some of those new polyimide stencils. They are 8mils thick and can prevent shorting if it is due to solder mask problems or too much paste. http://www.solder.net/technical/tips.asp BWET

According to the documentation that I have, the oven should reach 350c. This zone, set at 330c will not go above 314c.

Well, according to Manix, this oven can run lead free, I have a few things that need to be tweeked, but I hope I can get that last zone up to temps.

I am looking for a tool to measure copper thickness on finished circuit boards. I saw one of these once being used for incoming inspection. Can someone point me to where I can find such a tool? Thanks, Mike.

My operators much prefer the cartridges. Better control of application and a lot less messy. The paste seems to even print better. We used jars for seven+ years, would really hate to go back to them.

Sorry, the AC-30 is the "Lightning Head" machine and the AC-72 is the flex placer. The price is correct. Was in a hurry to get home on Friday and reversed them in the sentence after the price.

Agreed. I wouldn't look any earlier than the X, series for used. That's not to say the GEM series is bad, its only because it's 4 generations old.
