Funny you mention this. I tried this first. I have one now I am trying to sell for $87 dollars on EBAY. I am sure it could be useful for something other than electronics inspection. For electronics inspection of completed circuit boards it BLOWS!

Give your current supplier a shot. They probably can do a good job for you. Most wave solder pallet suppliers make SMT pallets just to stay in business.
