The end of support of the 5DX is only for the Series IIL system. The series 3 and Series 5000 are still supported. The support included Technical support and parts support.

Hello David, No, the capillary does not scrub through the gold layer. At least, we have never seen it. We replace the capillary after approx. 200k bonds. Regards, Sergey

Hello Sergey, thanks for your input. The capillary i'm using seems to pick up material from the bond surface fairly quickly. Can't think of a solution at the moment. regards, david.

Frank- I don't believe your statement regarding Zevatech always being a Juki platform is correct. I can remember Zevatech selling SMT equipment 25 years ago and they sure as hell didn't come from Japan then......

Yes Rick, you are correct, Zevatech HBA, PPM7 & PPM9 were all designed and built by Swiss. That was a long long time ago.
