I'm not familiar with this particular oven, but have seen this problem once before. As it turned out there was a flexible curtain near the end of the reflow tunnel on the oven. Some very fine strands had frayed from the curtain and were catching on

Definitely feeder related - we get it all the time on those package parts. If you can, slow the tact of the feeder advance a bit (if it's on T&R). We also don't catch it at placement, but at pre-reflow visual or AOI.

We have a Heller 1500W Reflow oven and need a way to catch boards as they come out of the oven. Does anyone have a suggestion as to how to do this. Your reply will be appreciated.

We always have the board house do it. Why catch bad board for them? Don't let them push you around.

Be careful of inverted homeplates if you hand clean your stencils. The "spikes" can easily catch on the wipe being used and bend up. Not to mention the nice slashing it does on your hand that immediately some how fills with solder paste.

Guess- If a component drops at the camera the machine will not proceed to attempt to place it and drive the nozzle into a brick of solder paste. The line sensor will catch the fact there is no component on the nozzle and will retry to pick and place.

This is something a DFM should catch. Best Option: Add Break-Away rails to the board. Worst Option: Buy a true on-contact printer... (normally referred to as the Y-Snugger option)

Does your camera / stopper move to a spot where it can catch the boad when the middle sensor is triggered? It sounds like you may have your board stop coordinates wrong. Check your X measurement to be sure.
