Pascal: Two elementary cautines are: 1 Don't dump the board before the reflowed solder is cooled. 2 Try to manage the side to side temperature variations in your oven. I wouldn't be surprised to see 5C variation. Good luck

Electronics Forum | Mon Sep 14 21:03:15 EDT 1998 | Steve

When I search using the new product to company directory, I can't find companies that I know were in the older directory. What did everyone get dumped and they just haven't found-out and re-registered yet? Dave F

Aqueous cleaner water disposal

Electronics Forum | Tue Sep 03 14:34:39 EDT 2002 | dragonslayr

All valuable insights are provided by the other posters to this thread. I'd like to add a bit more, if I may. Being environmental friendly is a must. I would not advocate dumping toxic metals to the sewer. In a past worklife, a steel mill, I was r

MPM Accuflex

I believe NEA still sells new UP500's for around $45K. I think MPM dumped them all there and pays them as they sell. Is it worth looking at if the software is upgraded? I had the general opinion that the hardware was not so hot.

Electronics Forum | Thu Sep 06 15:57:36 EDT 2007 | grantp

Hi, Vapor phase is an incredibly process, apart from the tombstoning, that we just could never eliminate. So we had to dump it and go with convection. It's a shame, as the solder joints were incredible! Regards, Grant
