Yep, especially if they are the silicon domed type that mark easy. We gang pick LEDs on our Yamaha kit, getting 12 at a time per side, but we have the luxury and volume of having multiple reels of the same components.

Be worth running a trial of a sticky panel if you can before buying - your Flexjet gang picking 7 at the same time against a lighting head. If you're building panels of the same part or limited parts you may find it quicker.

Same as above, probably going to be 100nf 0603 or 0402 Caps, or 0805 if old technology. If you have a decent pick & place you can gang pick these - line up 8 reels in a row of the same value for example & cut pick times, and reel changes

Yea, in past lives I'd line up as many reels of the high usage parts as possible for gang picking, but now that I'm on ASM it just wants a single reel of each part and it chews through that.

This will probably sound like a dumb question, but... I have a specific 1206 chip resistor that routinely ends up placed upside down on the pcb. We use Juki 750 placement machines. I normally run the machine with the auto-correct for the pick posi

This is a question regarding soldermask between pins of fine pitch devices. The majority of our production designs end up with at least 2-3 mils of copper thickness on the external layers due to blind vias, wrap plating requirements, etc. Our curre

Gang - Thanks for your recent kind comments recently on the QSV-1 machine. As you know, QSoft can import a variety of Windows formats including tab and space delimitted files. It may be that this Cadence software does not export ASCII data. In any

Our experience has been similar to yours. Not the best placements rates for 0603 caps. I can't tell you an exact reject rate on our machines. We program them as leaded components which seems to help a lot. Also, not using gang picks is best. You
