Hi Pyramus you should`t have a major problem after you wash the board as my crew also run into this problem a few month ago ,, I wash them after but I suggestto run one first it depent who is the paste from I think.

Yes, if not done correctly, you will have a mess on your hands and probably do more harm than good. It can be done, though and has gotten much more common and easier to do. If you are ordering cleaning chemicals, your supplier can guide you through

For ICT purposes I may need to print solder paste on 0.015" test vias. No-clean is not an option for this assembly and OA seems the only choice. Can flux be safely removed from inside the via from the other side during a standard water wash process

When you say "clean solder paste", do you mean not "no clean"? "clean solder paste" is not a common term and I for one do not understand what you mean by it. I believe you mean "water soluble" Commonly there is "no clean" and "water soluble". The

Now is when you find out if you have a good sales rep for your solder. I've seen solder reps eventually get around to responding. And I've seen some that would be in the plant that day to help you out. I even know a couple who would give advice even

Just how cold do you store your paste? And what are your solder paste reps like? Here they fall over each other giving support for their paste. And have you seen the problem with flux separation or have you only heard about it?

How do people prepare there solder paste for screen print? We currently remove them from the fridge and mix them in a 500g solder paste tub mixer to mix the flux and paste together we waste to much paste at the moment as we only use the tub for 1

why not use a paste where it requires no refrigeration at all cheers Greg
