Take this chance to update your documentation. See Appendix B in: http://www.jedec.org/DOWNLOAD/search/jstd033b.pdf How much fun is that going to be? As an alternative, maybe your supplier can save you the pain.

I never worked with anything other than the green camera system. The machines are awesome considering how old they are. Changing the table break is not something I would care to do every day, they are a pain to do.

Loctite 3609 is a pretty good smt adhesive. I'd actually recommend the Loctite 3621 instead though. It's a better adhesive on some of those pain parts plus it's actually less expensive than the 3609

Señor Tech: You're correct. I get the impression that these coatings are aimed at solving specific problems. If you don't have that kind of pain, why get involved?

Stay away from used Nitrogen ovens unless you have a specific need for it. The flux management is a pain in the arse to clean. I don't care how simple they claim it is.

I'm guessing he's got the "Stinger" option (dot dispense) on his 03i... and it is PAINFULLY slow.

Hi, We are currently using Alfa EF-2210, that is a good water based flux for spraying, but can't be used with foam fluxer (it is pain to use with foaming - builds extensive foam) BR:andras
